     Tuesday (9/28)

Bob Krueger was Dispatcher with John Diefenbach and Paul Ritterhoff as crew for an evening charter.

     Saturday (10/2)

Greg Thompson and I did the monthly maintenance on the controllers for 1050, 554, 1164 and 6119. We also adjusted the hood switch on 1164 that had been giving the crews trouble during the last week.

Bob Krueger and Dan Lawrence continued to instruct the motorman/conductor class during the morning.

Rick Obbink and a friend repaired the metal dasher on both ends of 3550. The metal had rusted out where the trolley catcher had been mounted to the dasher. Since the catcher needed a flat surface and the dasher is curved, a block of wood was cut to fit between the catcher and the dasher. Over the years the rainwater would get caught between the wood block and the dasher and over time the metal rusted out.
Greg, Rick and I then did an inspection of the main power feed on the crane where it passes through the crane to the body. This is a rotary joint that must be able to carry over 100 amps of current at 600 volts and must be insulated from the body.

Ed Amrhein, Greg, Rick and I them put canvas on one of the two hoods from 264 and applied the first coat of linseed oil.

Dave Crow was Dispatcher with Dennis Yeager and Dennis Falter as crew.

     Sunday (10/3)

Ben M Bates was Dispatcher with Carl Merson and Buster Hughes as crew.
