S aturday (3/24)

     The track gang (Josh Lepman, Ed Amrhein, Ben Bates, Dan Lawrence, Rick Obbink, Jim Robertson and John La Costa) was out working on the second track and spiked 30+ ties. Ed, Rick and I also started work on clearing the area next to the car house for a future storage track.

     Track work has been helped greatly by the donation of a back hoe courtsey of Jim Robertson.

     John Engleman continued to work on the upgrade to the O Gauge trolley layout in the Visitor's Center. The addition will include a carhouse and lengthen the layout by about 4 feet.

     Buster Hughes continued working on the interior of 4533.

     Chris Howell was Dispatcher with Sharon Higgins and Mike Citro as crew.

     Wednesday (3/28)

     Warren Olt was Dispatcher with M. Bates, Charlie Plantholt and Mike Citro as crew for a daytime charter.

     Saturday (3/31)

     The track gang (Ed Amrhein, Josh Lepman, Rick Obbink and Chris McNally) spent the day cleaning up the area around the second track. After all the tie replacements, there was a lot of used ties that had to be moved.

     Sunday (4/1)

     Dan Lawrence was Dispatcher with Andy Blumberg, Kevin Mueller, Jim Robertson, Rick Williams, Carl Thistel and Dennis Falter as crew.This was a big day at the museum as we recognized the first African American streetcar operator.

     Wednesday (4/4)

     Warren Olt was Dispatcher with M. Bates, Jim Robertson and Charlie Plantholt as crew for a daytime charter.

     Sunday (4/8)

     I was Dispatcher with Dan Lawrence and Ed Amrhein as crew.

     Wednesday (4/11)

     Ben Bates was Dispatcher with M. Bates, Mike Citro and Charlie Plantholt as crew for a daytime charter.

     Saturday (4/14)

     The track gang was out again (Josh Lepman, Rick Obbink and ?) and spiked over 60 ties. The crew has worked their way down from the switch at 25th street to the north end of the 22nd street shop building.

     Sunday (4/15)

     Ben Bates (the younger) was Dispatcher with Ben Bates (the elder) and Charlie Plantholt as crew.

     Wednesday (4/18)

     Warren Olt was Dispatcher with Ben Bates, Harry Gesser, and Jim Robertson as crew for a daytime charter.

     Sunday (4/22)

     Dan Lawrence was Dispatcher with Rick Williams, David Baynes and John Diefenbach as crew.
